This week Sister Liu shared the following...
You're starting to look rounder...
You're starting to look rounder...
<HELLO EVERYONE>
Wellll this week was pretty great!
We did lots of finding this week,
Yi Jun is thinking about a baptismal goal!
She has been worried about her husband not being ok with it,
but this week they are talking it out,
sooo fingers crossed!
I went on exchanges!
Again.. haha
This time I went to Xiaogang with Sister Turner.
IT was a BLAST.
We spent a lot of the day just going from one 7-11 to another 7-11 talking to the people inside (It was so hot that there was NO ONE out on the streets haha)
We found a couple of girls that are willing to meet, and even taught one of the girls the first lesson right then and there :)
Nothing too out of the ordinary happened-
So I'll just share something I learned in personal study this week :)
I read a talk in this month's Liahonna titled "Heavenly Father's Fixed Standards"
https://www.lds.org/liahona/2015/08/heavenly-fathers-fixed-standards?cid=HP_FR_8-21-2015_dPTH_fLHNA_xLIDyL2-1_&lang=eng
It puts a really good perspective of how we can't change Heavenly Father's standards, no matter how much we want to or justify it.
Y'all should definitely read it :)
Line of the Week:
A Member in the ward: Sister Liu, are you sure you should be eating all of that?
Me: What? It's not even that much!
Member: Maybe you should just have one cookie instead of two...
Me: What are you saying...
Member: I'm just saying, your waist is starting to look...
rounder...
Me:......
Gotta love the bluntness of the Taiwanese.
Love Always, Michelle
