Well it's Antartica here, and we have no heater
Remember how I used to complain that Taiwan was too hot?
It's freezing outside.
It snowed on the mountains.
Like the coldest Taiwan has ever been in 10 years. <according to the news>
And our apartment has NO HEATER.
The past two days have consisted of everyone asking us why in the world we are still biking outside.
<Thanks mom for the fleece tights and extra pajamas >
This email is going to be a little shorter because I can't really move my fingers right now.
here we go:
First, here's a picture of me in a meadow of flowers, before it turned to antartica~
1. This week, Emily told us that she officially quit smoking! She was really influenced by her friends, and it was hard for her to stop, but once we set a baptisimal date with her, she is really determined to hit it, and she just told herself that she was going to stop, and she did! I am so proud of her and how far she has come~
2. We have an investigator, Jingyi, that we met with once and she was really great! After that, we weren't able to get in contact with her again, we didn't meet her at her house, so we couldn't go over and visit her either. This week we went to go look for a less active lady, she wasn't home, so we wrote her a note to leave in her mailbox. As we were about to leave, Jingyi walked out of on of the doors in that same apartment complex! We were able to talk to her for a bit, and we are meeting with her again tonight! Heavenly Father really works in mysterious ways.. ~
Well, my fingers are going to break off soon, so here are some pictures to sum up the week:
