An American, A Taiwanese, and A Korean
<HELLO EVERYONE>
OMIGOSH I AM SO EXCITED.
LIKE SO EXCITED.
LIKE SO SO SO EXCITED.
READY??
FAN BI ER IS GETTING BAPTIZED ON SATURDAY.
I can't even explain how big of a miracle that is.
The past three months of meeting with her have been such a huge learning experience for me,
I've really learned about listening and figuring out an investigators needs, to help them progress to baptism.
Sister Kuang and I have been praying and fasting,
and praying and fasting,
and praying and fasting
for her.
we love her.
Last week she was starting to have some doubts about baptism,
but she told us that she prayed again, she went to work and she started talking to a friend about her baptism, and just had this overwhelming feeling that she needed to be baptized.
She had her baptismal interview 2 days ago, and passed with flying colors :)
We are just so happy for her because we know that the gospel will bring her and her family so much happiness. Her entire countenance has changed~ it's incredible what the gospel can do.
FUN NEWS:
I am now in a TRIPANIONSHIP.
yup.
11 pm. Phone rings.
"Hello? Sorry to call past calling hours. It's the AP's. There is a sister that needs a place to stay because her companion is training a new missionary, is there room in your apartment for another sister?"
(keep in mind, i'm pretty sure our apartment is made for one person to live in....)
Me: um... we can make it work. when is she coming?
AP: Tomorrow.
Me: ...Ok. We will clear up some space tonight. How long will we be in a tripanionship?
AP: Until sister kuang leaves. so... February 1st.
We will bring in another mattress tomorrow.
...thanks for the notice....
hahaha but it's GREAT. Her name is SISTER EO and she is from....
KOREA.
The only tripanionship in the mission :)
Made up of an american, a taiwanese, and a korean.
it's hilarious.
We have fun together,we learn a lot together.
it's going to be a great move call.
(minus the fact that we are 3 girls sharing one tiny bathroom...)
Anyways, it's a new move call.
New companion added in.
Fan Bi Er is getting baptized this week.
It's going good here in Tanzi.
I love you all.
Always, Sister Michelle Liu
Line of the week:
*at Fan Jie Mei's house, the really really old less active*
At the end of the lesson:
Sister Kuang: Thanks for letting us come by!
Fan Jie Mei: Where are you sisters going after this?
Me: I think we are going to go grab some dinner, so before we go, could you offer us a closing prayer?
Fan Jie Mei:
Dear Heavenly Father,
thank you for this day, and for letting the sisters come over...
..... Sister Liu is hungry and wants to go eat food now, so I will make my prayer shorter, then she can go eat...
....In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Well. that's that. It was a great prayer.
